Adela Whitton fell in with a bad crowd after her mother died. Her old friends could see that she was changing for the worst, that her new gothic friends were leading her down the wrong path. But Adela straightened up fast when they all died horribly at the hands of a demon they had accidently freed on Earth while playing with an ancient tome.
